The final step before launching is setting your Performance Budget — the amount you want to spend per day to test and scale your submissions as paid ads. There's no flat rate and no CPM rate to configure. One number does it all.
How the Performance Budget Works
Enter your daily Performance Budget in the Performance Budget field.
Minimum budget: $70/day
Change it anytime: Changes are reflected the next day
Unused budget carries over: Anything not spent today rolls over to the next day
Where Your Money Goes Each Day
Below the budget field you'll see exactly how your daily Performance Budget is split. The split is fixed: your testing budget and your winners budget are separate, and you can't change how much goes to each. Within each budget, spend automatically goes to the videos that perform best.
Example with a $100/day budget:
Testing campaign — 30% ($30/day) — Tests new creatives to find what lands
Winners campaign — 55% ($55/day) — Pushes budget behind the posts already working
Creator commission — 10% ($10/day) — Creators earn a percentage of ad spend on the posts that run
Marketplace fee — 5% ($5/day) — Creator payouts, view tracking and support
Testing vs. Winners
Testing — Approved videos wait in a queue that's sorted by quality and the results of your previous submissions. The most promising ones are tested with your testing budget and run as real ads with real viewers.
Winners — Submissions that perform best in testing move into the winners campaign, where most of your budget goes. That's how Autopilot scales what works — automatically.
Choosing Your Budget
Your daily Performance Budget decides how quickly you see what works:
Higher budgets show real results earlier and help you see what works faster
Lower budgets still work — it just takes longer to see clear results
A higher budget doesn't mean more videos are tested at the same time. It means your tests collect data faster, so you see real results sooner. Your budget is always split by the same fixed percentages between testing and winners — you can't move money from one to the other.
Start with a budget you're comfortable running for at least a week or two, so Autopilot has enough data to find your winners. Then increase it once you see results.
Give Your Campaign Time
Autopilot performance builds over time. In the first days, most of your budget goes into testing new submissions. Once winners are found, more budget moves behind them — and that's when results really pick up.
Don't judge too early — A few days of data isn't enough to see what your campaign can do
Don't pause after a few days — Pausing early stops the campaign before it can find and scale winners, so it won't help your results
Keep it running — To see real results, give Autopilot time to test, learn and scale
You can make changes anytime. If your hooks aren't working or your results aren't where you want them, you don't need to pause. Adjust your campaign, edit your brief or change your daily Performance Budget at any time. Budget changes apply the next day.
Funding Your Campaign
No card required to start the free trial, but you do need to upload funds into your wallet to launch a campaign.
When you click Launch, you'll fund the first day of your campaign. After that, Autopilot tops up automatically every day:
Unused spend from the previous day is carried over
Each day, you're only charged the difference between your daily Performance Budget and the amount carried over
Example: Your budget is $100/day and $20 wasn't spent yesterday. Today you're charged $80 to bring you back to $100. Your wallet funds are used first, and anything they don't cover is charged to your card.
The $50 minimum applies to adding funds in general; your Autopilot daily Performance Budget must be at least $70. You can add funds anytime from My Brand → Funds → Add funds (minimum $50).
Tips for Best Results
Give it time — Testing needs data. Judge results after several days, not several hours.
Change budget gradually — Changes apply the next day, so plan increases ahead.
Invest in your brief — Budget scales winners, but your brief decides how many winners there are.
Run one angle per campaign — Separate campaigns for separate hooks give you cleaner results.
What Happens After Launch?
Once you launch:
Creators can see your campaign and start submitting
Submissions are automatically reviewed by AI against your brief
Approved videos enter a queue, and the most promising ones are tested as paid ads on TikTok or Instagram
The best-performing videos are scaled with more budget
Creators earn their commission on the ad spend behind their videos
You can change your budget, edit your brief, or pause at any time — nothing is locked.
