Your brief is the most important part of your CPM deal. It tells creators exactly what you're looking for and directly controls what content gets approved. With CPM deals, content is automatically reviewed by AI against your brief — so the clearer your brief, the better your results.
Allow AI Generated Content
At the top of the brief section, you'll see a toggle for Allow AI Generated Content. This controls whether creators can use AI-generated elements in their submissions. This is off by default — toggle it on if you're open to AI-assisted content.
Add Inspiration Content
Inspiration content is one of the most important steps — it shows creators what success looks like and powers the AI Brief Builder.
We recommend adding at least one TikTok or Instagram link so the AI can generate the best brief. Other links can also be added and will be visible to creators.
For each piece of inspiration:
Paste the link to the video
Add a description explaining why this example works
Where to find inspiration:
TikTok
Instagram Reels
YouTube Shorts
Facebook/Meta Ads Library
Content from your portfolio
Tips for choosing inspiration:
Look for videos with high engagement in your niche
Check what your competitors are doing and see what's working for them
Find content that educates, entertains, or sparks curiosity
Add 3 to 5 examples with notes on why each one works
Click Add Link to add each piece of inspiration content.
Project Overview
The Project Overview is where you describe what you're looking for. This is the main body of your brief that creators will read — and that the AI will use to automatically approve or reject submissions.
You have two options:
Option 1: Generate with AI
Click the Generate with AI button to have the AI Brief Builder create your brief automatically. The AI analyzes your inspiration content and combines it with your product description to generate a complete brief — fine-tuned for your brand.
Learn more about how this works in our AI Brief Builder article.
Option 2: Write Manually
Write your brief directly in the text editor. Use the formatting tools to add headers, bullet points, links, and more.
What to include in your Project Overview:
What your product is and why users love it
Key features to highlight (keep it focused — don't overload)
The style and format you're looking for
Hooks and angles that work well
What makes content go viral in your niche
Set Rules
Below the Project Overview, you'll find the Set Rules section. Use this to add specific requirements and restrictions for creators.
What to include:
Language requirements
Required elements (e.g., "Show the app for at least 3 seconds")
Prohibited content (e.g., "Don't mention competitor brands")
Any mandatory hashtags or disclosures
Why Brief Quality Matters for CPM
With CPM deals, your brief controls everything. Content is automatically approved or rejected by AI based on how well it follows your brief.
Clear briefs = more approved content that matches your vision
Vague briefs = inconsistent content and more rejections
Take the time to get your brief right — it's the single biggest lever you have for ensuring high-quality, on-brand content at scale.
Keep It Focused
Don't overload creators with too many details. Focus on:
The core feature that will entice viewers to click
A subtle call to action to keep the content feeling organic
The goal is to drive clicks to your product, not explain every detail in the video. Let your product or website do the deeper explaining.
