AI Brief Builder

Let our AI write your brief — based on viral concepts and fine-tuned for your brand.

Writing a great brief can be time-consuming. Our AI Brief Builder does the heavy lifting for you, generating a complete brief based on what's already working in your niche.

What Is the AI Brief Builder?

The AI Brief Builder is a tool that automatically generates a brief for your contest, deal, or CPM campaign. It analyzes viral content and combines it with your company and product information to create a brief that's tailored to your brand.

You don't have to start from scratch — the AI gives you a strong foundation, and you can customize it from there.

Where to Find the AI Brief Builder

The AI Brief Builder is built into the campaign setup flow. As you set up a contest, deal, or CPM campaign, you'll reach the Create Brief step, where you can generate your brief with AI or start from a structured template. The AI uses everything you entered in the earlier steps — your product details and inspiration content — to write the brief.

How It Works

Setting up a campaign moves through a few steps in the left-hand menu: Get Started → Additional Details → Inspirational Content → Create Brief → Resources → Structure & Pricing. The first five steps are the same across contests, deals, and CPM campaigns; the final step varies by campaign type. Here's how each step feeds your brief.

1. Get Started

  • Campaign name — Name your campaign.

  • Industry — Select the industry (or industries) that fit your brand.

  • Website — Enter your website URL so creators can learn more about your brand.

  • Describe your product and who it's for — Choose Generate with AI to have the AI pull a first-draft description straight from your website, or Write your own to enter it manually. Either way, you can edit the result. This description is used to help generate your brief and is not visible to creators, so be specific about what makes your product unique.

  • Who can participate — Choose the countries and regions eligible for your campaign.

  • Product imagery — Upload an image that represents your campaign. Recommended: 9:16 aspect ratio, 512×1024px, max 5MB. Drag and drop or browse to upload.

2. Additional Details

  • Product Name — The name of your product or service.

  • Product Type — Select the type that best describes what you're offering (for example, a digital product).

  • Selling points — Highlight the key features, benefits, and problems your product solves. Add at least one — these directly help the AI understand your product and write a stronger brief.

  • Call To Action — Tell creators what call to action to say in their content.

  • Allow AI Generated Submissions (optional) — Toggle this on if you want to allow creators to use AI-generated content in their submissions. This is off by default.

3. Inspirational Content

Add reference content that matches the style you're looking for. Click Add inspiration, then either upload a video or paste a link (viral TikToks, Instagram Reels, or other content). For each one, add a note describing what specifically you love about it.

We recommend adding at least one TikTok or Instagram link so the AI has strong context. These examples help the AI understand the hooks, formats, and concepts driving engagement in your niche.

4. Create Brief

This is where the brief comes together. You have two options:

  • Generate with AI — The AI pulls from everything you've entered — product details, selling points, and inspiration content — and writes a complete brief. You'll see a "Brief generated successfully" confirmation when it's ready.

  • Start with template — Begin from a pre-built structure and replace each placeholder with your own content.

Either way, the brief follows a clear structure, including sections like What [Your Product] Is, What We Are Looking For, and How To Make Your Video In This Style (broken into a Hook and Product Demo, each with Visual, Text Overlay, and Script guidance).

Everything is editable in the rich-text editor — adjust the tone, rewrite sections, add mandatory hashtags or requirements, or fine-tune the messaging. You're always in control.

5. Resources

Give creators what they need to make great content. Under Upload Files (optional), drag and drop brand assets, product shots, logos, or guidelines (max 20MB each). You can also add External Folders (optional) by pasting a link (Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar) and describing what's inside.

6. Structure & Pricing

This final step depends on the type of campaign you're setting up:

  • CPM campaigns — Set your budget and rates: your Daily Flat Rate Budget, your flat rate per piece of content, and your CPM (what you pay per 1,000 views, up to a max of $10). The tool shows your maximum spend per post as you go.

  • Contests — Choose your prize pool distribution — how the total prize pool is split across winning placements.

  • Deals — There are no additional steps here. Once your brief and resources are set, your deal is ready.

When everything looks right, click Launch.

Why Use the AI Brief Builder?

  • Save time — No need to write your brief from scratch.

  • Learn from what works — The AI is trained on viral concepts that drive engagement.

  • Stay on-brand — Your company and product information keep the brief tailored to you.

  • Flexible — Edit and customize as much as you want after generation.

Do I Have to Use It?

No. The AI Brief Builder is completely optional. If you'd rather write your brief yourself, choose Start with template in the Create Brief step (or write directly in the editor) and skip Generate with AI.

Tips for Best Results

  • Be clear about your brand — A good product description and strong selling points help the AI write a better brief.

  • Add quality inspiration content — The better your examples, the better your AI-generated brief.

  • Include 3 to 5 examples — Enough context for the AI without overwhelming it.

  • Explain why each example works — Add a note so the AI understands what you like about each video.

  • Review and personalize — The AI gives you a starting point; your edits make it yours.

Where Can I Use It?

The AI Brief Builder is available when setting up:

  • Contests

  • Deals

  • CPM campaigns

No matter which feature you're using, the AI Brief Builder helps you create a compelling brief faster.
